We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RF Power Amplifier and RFIC Design Expert on behalf of a global IDM in telecommunications. The position is available at our client's research centre, where they lead in high-efficiency wideband power amplifier and IC design for FEMs/mobile and terminal applications.
As an RF Power Amplifier and RFIC Design Expert, you will drive ground-breaking research in high-efficiency power amplifier architecture and integrated circuit design. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define cutting-edge system and product requirements, elevating our position in mobile technology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pioneering research on high-efficiency power amplifier architectures for wideband and multi-band RF transmitters.
- Explore next-gen RF transmitter efficiency enhancement technologies and pioneer new power device technology.
- Lead research in high-performance and reconfigurable RFIC design, ensuring seamless integration within wideband RF Front End modules.
- Tackle complex technological challenges, surpassing product requirements and setting new industry standards.
- Drive innovation through proposing, reviewing, and evaluating cutting-edge technical ideas.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 8+ years of hands-on experience in RFIC and high-efficiency RF power amplifier design.
- Proficiency in RFIC/MMIC circuit design and simulation tools (ADS, MWO, Cadence, Spice, etc.).
- Expertise in RF power amplifier and IC design in mobile devices, load-insensitive RF power amplifier design, and wideband power amplifier architectures.
- Proven track record in designing and characterizing wideband and reconfigurable ICs for RF Front End modules.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
